These stray dogs seem to have enjoyed a good night's sleep on some old, discarded cushions, near where I live. The photograph was taken early in the morning.

These fellas’ are too grown up to be pets now. I was just happy to see each of them having their own cushion and being comfortable, instead of sleeping on the cold, hard road!

Those dogs are real cute….here they sleep under every car when its hot…btw my cat has injured his tail, any idea what I should do ?

I suppose they find it cooler in the shade.
I think you should wash your cat’s tail with a solution prepared by dissolving a few drops of an anti-septic, like Dettol, in clean water and then take him to see a veterinarian at the earliest possible.

I live in Ludhiana and pass by stray animals everyday. These dogs seem to have a good time, whereas the stray cattle on the roads of Ludhiana are in a pathetic situation. I wish we did something about that. Your blog is really great.Keep it up.

In Delhi and thereabouts, there are several charitable organisations that run hospitals and even ambulance services for these animals. I suppose a similar effort could be made at other places, including Ludhiana, too.
